From July to September 2024, the Banilad Center for Professional Development (BCPD) conducted the Cookery National Certificate II(NC II) training for Persons with Disability (PWDs) in partnership with the Area Vocational Rehabilitation Center II (AVRC). This training program provided students with practical skills in cooking, food safety, and kitchen management, preparing them for future employment or business opportunities in the food industry. After completing the program, participants underwent a cookery assessment, where they successfully demonstrated their skills and passed the evaluation, earning their NC II certification.
